Meng Xiaosi, Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), met Rana Flowers, the UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) Representative to China, in Beijing on November 20, 2015. Meng expressed gratitude for UNICEF's support to China's efforts in enhancing the development of Chinese women and children's undertakings. She appraised to the long-term cooperation between ACWF and UNICEF, and she outlined ACWF's work. Meng and Flowers discussed China's draft law to combat domestic violence, protection of children and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Agenda, entitled Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, was adopted during the UN Summit held in New York on September 25-27, 2015.
