Thoughts on the Reform of Translation Test in CET-4

当前,大学英语四级考试备受大家的关注,尤其受到高校师生的关注。2013年大学英语四级考试翻译题型进行改革,增加翻译题在整个考试中的比重,凸显用人单位对大学生英语翻译能力的迫切要求,对大学英语翻译教学产生积极的反拨效应。虽然大学英语翻译教学中还存在许多问题,但通过学生、教师和学校的共同努力,大学英语翻译教学一定会迈上一个新的台阶,为社会培养出更多合格的人才。

At present,CET-4 attracts everyone＇s attention,especially University students＇ and faculties＇.In 2013,the translation test of CET-4 was reformed,increasing the proportion of the translation test in the exam.It highlights employing units＇ urgent needs for college students＇ translation ability and has a positive backwash effect on college English translation teaching.Although there are many difficulties in college English translation teaching,we are bound to take a new step and train more qualified talents for the society with the joint efforts of students,teachers and colleges.
