朝阳灌区经过几十年的运行,出现工程老化、沟渠淤积、部分建筑物破损等问题。对灌区进行清淤疏通、新修建筑物、水闸安装自动测报系统等一系列改造。经过配套改造,渠系水的利用率由0.45提高到0.65,灌区稻田毛灌溉定额由933.7 m^3/667 m^2减少到646.4 m3/667 m^2,促进了水资源的可持续利用。
