A Review of Antoinette's British Dream

作为欧洲殖民者后裔的安托瓦内特对自己祖先的家园有着深深的向往,她有一个难以磨灭的英国梦:她梦里眷恋着英国,嫁给了宗主国的年轻人,最后也回到了英国。可是对于安托瓦内特而言,她的英国梦就是一场难以醒来的噩梦。

Antoinette has a yearning for the hometown of her antecedents since she was an offspring of the overseas European settlers. British dream is on her mind all the time： she dreams of England, marries a young Briton and returns to the England eventually. To Antoinette, British dream is a nightmare that she cannot wake up from.
