摘要
有关中国文学走出去的讨论中,有一种狭隘的惟文学思维,表现为四种具体的形式,每一种形式都有内在的问题,都脱离中国文学外译的现实,不利于中国文学的对外传播与接受。中国文学因此迫切需要加入其他思维。政治因素由于在中国文学外译中具有正当性和必要性,理应受到重视,因此政治思维是必须考虑的选项。同时,虽然目前对市场的作用有三种错误认识,但市场因素是中国文学外译不可忽视的因素,因此市场思维也应是选项。只有这三种思维并举,才有可能综合利用多种资源和手段,提高中国文学走出去的效率。
Evidence of a"literature-only"mindset is obvious in current discussions on the international promotion of Chinese literature. The mindset focuses on literary factors only,and takes four forms,each with its inherent problems,and is not conducive to the successful reception of Chinese literature abroad. Other nonliterary factors,political and market ones in particular,should be brought into these discussions. Political factors should be taken into account because political considerations are not only justified but also necessary. It is also the case with market factors. With these two kinds of nonliterary factors fully valued,a mindset with political and market,as well as literary awareness will be formed,which will be helpful in employing a combination of resources and methods to facilitate the promotion of Chinese literature.
