On the Application of “Picture Books” in Primary English Teaching Based on Multiple Intelligences Theory

多元智能理论关注智能的多元发展,倡导尊重学生的个体差异,真正做到因材施教,为小学英语绘本教学提供了理论基础。小学英语绘本教学应回归阅读教学本身,符合阅读能力的发展规律。在内容选择上要循序渐进,体现不同学段的差异性;在教学中应注重阅读方法的指导、阅读交流和反馈,让学生成为课堂的主体,培养学生良好的阅读习惯。

Multiple Intelligences Theory pays attention to the multiple development of intelligences and respects the individual difference of the students, which provides theoretical foundation for the application of ＂picture books＂in primary English teaching. The use of＂picture books＂should follow the principles of students＇ reading ability development. The selection should demonstrate the differences of various ages of the students. Teachers should give directions to the reading methods and pay attention to communication and feedback, so as to make the students the masters of the class and cultivate their reading habit.
