Chronological Changes of the System of Measurement in Secfion PW-43 Rules for Construction of Power Boilers of ASME Ⅰ

对ASMEⅠ《动力锅炉建造规则》1995~2013七个版本中PW-43节单位制的变迁进行了分析,并对曾经引起的计算上的混乱进行了说明,提出了如何正确地把原版中的英制变为公制的方法。

This paper describes the chronological changes of the unit system adopted in section PW-43, Rules for Construction of Power Boilers, of ASME I in its seven editions issued from 1995 to 2013, followed by analyses on causes of confusions ever occurred in calculations, giving methods to convert the units in the imperial system into those expressed in the metric system.
