摘要
"这有什么用"是中国人日常生活中的常用口头表达。凡事追求"实用"已经成为中国人的惯性思维方式。中国人实用思维包括三个基本特征:(1)重现世满足,轻彼岸追求;(2)注重当下之用,忽视长远之用;(3)重应用探究,轻理论建构。实用思维的形成肇始于先秦时代,它一旦形成,就对中国人和中国社会形成了巨大影响力。虽然实用思维提升了中国人对环境的适应能力和对外来思想的融合能力,但其消极影响不可小觑。在实用思维的影响下,中国人未能形成"为知识而知识"的求知取向,未发展出成熟的理论思维,进而限制了中国人的创新能力。
"What's its use" is a habitual oral expression in Chinese daily life. "Shiyong" has become a kind of important thinking mode of Chinese. There are three basic characteristics about Shiyong thinking:(1) It emphasizes secular satisfaction, in contrast, spiritual aspiration isn't considered;(2) Instead of long-term interests, it pays more attention to the short-term interests;(3) It focuses on applied exploration, but neglects theoretical construct. Shiyong thinking was formed during pre-Qin era, which has great effect upon Chinese and Chinese society. Shiyong thinking enhances Chinese adaptive capacity towards different environment and helps Chinese absorb foreign ideas. But there still exists negative effect, such as the lack of pure study attitude for knowledge acquisition, immature theoretical thinking and restricted creativity.
