孛术鲁翀家世考论

Textual Research on Boshulu Chong's Family Backgrounds

原籍上京路隆安的孛术鲁翀为女真族,还有契丹族血统。祖父孛术鲁德迁至邓州之顺阳,父孛术鲁居谦曾到江西做官,孛术鲁翀生于赣江舟中,幼年学于虞汲。孛术鲁翀在政事、学术与文学方面成就突出,其子孛术鲁远为元朝殉难。孛术鲁家族重视家庭教育,其家族四代与汉族通婚,为汉化之典型。

With his ancestral home located in Long＇an,Shangjing Prefecture,Boshulu Chong was a native Jurchen,bearing a sort of Khitan background in terms of blood lineage. Boshulu＇s grandfather had had himself relocated to Shunyang in today＇s Dengzhou and his father had been to Jiangxi Province to assume office there. It is found that Boshulu was born in a small boat down the Ganjiang River and later started schooling under the tutelage of Yuji.Boshulu was accomplished in many fields,such as politics,academics,and literature. Boshulu＇s son died a martyr in fulfilling his duties for the Yuan Dynasty. Boshulu＇s family boasted a time-honored tradition of valuing domestic education. In addition,Boshulu ＇s family was a typical example of intermarriage and ethnic integration where four generations of the Boshulu family had been involved in intermarriages with ethnic Han Chinese.
