摘要
以翻译专业设置为例,分析新专业设置过程中遇到的可行性研究不足、专业人才结构失衡、专业扩容过快等一系列实践问题,提出高校应加强新专业设置的可行性研究,缩小新老专业招生规模并控制新专业的扩容速度,以保证专业结构调整的质量。
With the establishment of the B. A. program in English translation as a case,the author analyzes such practical problems as the imbalanced structure of talents graduating from schools of higher education,the over- heated development of new majors,and the lack of adequate feasibility study for the new specialties met in the process of adjusting the structure of majors. To solve these problems,the author proposes that schools of higher education should strengthen the feasibility studies in setting up new programs,downsize the scale of enrollment for both new instructional programs and the related old ones and control the speed of the development for the new programs,in order to guarantee the quality of the restructuring process.
