School physical education is part of school education,which not only shares the consistency with other courses in many areas of school,but also has more distinctive features of its own. With a unique,open learning environment and activities for students,school physical education aims to stimulate students＇ sports desire in terms of sports aesthetics,interest,situation and innovative forms,making students carry out physical education learning consciously,initiatively,and actively. Furthermore,it has the incomparable advantage over other courses in promoting the development of innovative thinking and improving practice ability of students.The study on the cultivation of innovative thinking and practical ability of the students in primary school sports teaching can lay a solid foundation for the establishment of follow-up physical education and meanwhile for the students＇ ability of lifelong and sustainable development.
