新加坡英语中闽南语借词词形特点及变化趋势——基于语言接触理论视角

On the Morphological Characteristics and Tendency of Loanwords from the Minnan Dialect in Singlish from a Perspective of Language Contact

基于语言接触理论视角,对新加坡英语中闽南语借词词形特点及变化趋势进行探讨。认为新加坡英语中的闽南语借词词形具有拼写随意性、变体简洁性、不同词性变体数量分布不均等特点。提出新加坡英语中的闽南语借词词形变化趋势为:闽南语借词与标准英语词汇搭配,形成紧密结合的新词组;与标准英语词根结合,使新词汇具有典型的英语语法特征;与用标准英语直译的新加坡英语词汇并存。

Based on the literature review of loanwords from the Minnan Dialect（ henceforth Minnan-origin loanwords） in Singlish,this paper,from a perspective of language contact,points out their morphological characteristics such as spelling randomness,variant simplicity and uneven distribution in variant numbers of different categories. And this paper also makes clear the variation tendency of morphological changes of Minnan-origin loanwords in Singlish,namely,their collocation with standard English words,their combination with standard English affixes and their co-existence with their word-for-word translation version.
