楚国廉政文化作为中国政治思想中重要的思想文化资源,不仅折射出古代君臣的廉政智慧,更影响着楚国的治国方针,推动楚国从蕞尔小国走向权威鼎盛,在春秋战国时期兼并争霸的舞台上占据一席之地。楚国在长达800年的历史中,不断总结、不断创新,生成了极具特色的楚国廉政思想。历代先贤秉持着"欲治民,先治吏"的思想主张,治吏思想支撑楚国廉政思想体系的发展和完善,为中国古代廉政文化体系的建立做出巨大贡献。

The culture of Chu＇s incorruptible government is an important cultural resource of Chinese political thoughts, it not only reflects the ancient monarchs＇ wisdom of running incorruptible government, but also poses great influence on the general principles of governing the Chu state, which allowed this small state to develop into authority and prosperity, making a space for the state in fighting for hegemony during Warring States period. In the 800-year history of Chu, the extremely characterized ideology of official governance was gradually formed by constant summing-ups and innovations. Scholars of the past held the ideology of ruling the officials before ruling the people which supported the development and perfection of Chu＇s ideology system of running incorruptible government and it has made great contributions to the establishment of incorruptible cultural system in ancient China.
