摘要
综述了国内外快放电直线型变压器驱动源(fast linear transformer driver,FLTD)闪光照相加速器的研究进展,包括美国圣地亚国家实验室(Sandia National Laboratory,SNL)双轴7 MV LTD型闪光照相装置、洛斯·阿拉莫斯国家实验室LANSCE装置C区与质子照相装置轴垂直的LTD型闪光照相装置、21级串联LTD-Minor URSA装置及32级串联正负极性可调的LTD装置的概念设计。同时,介绍了法国原子能部CEA/PAM 8 MV LTD型照相装置IDERIX和英国原子能武器中心为替代Mevex加速器拟研制的空气绝缘LTD的概念设计。最后,介绍了中国工程物理院和西北核技术研究所FLTD相关研究进展,结合西北核技术研究所现有技术条件和需求,提出了开展闪光LTD驱动源的初步设想。
This paper summarizes the current development of fast linear transformer drivers (FLTDs) for radiography, including the 7-MV two-axis FLTD in Sandia National Laborato- ry (SNL) for down-hole flash X-ray radiography, an orthogonal X-ray radiography axis for pRad at LANSCE area C in Los Alamos National Laboratory, the URSA Minor device which is a FLTD containing 21 cavities, and a reversible polarity LTD with 32 cavities designed by SNL. Also, the conceptual designs of the IDERIX, an 8-MV flash X-ray machine using a FLTD, in CEA of France, and an air-insulated LTD planned by England Atom Weapon Es- tablishment (AWE) for replacing its Mevex accelerator are described. Furthermore, the FLTD development in China Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP) and Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology (NINT) is reported. Finally, based on the current capability and technical needs in NINT, some proposals on future FLTD investigation are given.
