中■王鼎铭文研究

The Research of “■中[貝甫]王鼎” Inscription

本文考证了1978年出土的中[貝甫]王鼎铭中的＂[貝甫]＂,认为从贝从帚,应隶释作[貝甫],从＂歸＂省声,铭中可能读作馈,＂中馈＂犹言家中饮食事宜,鼎以中馈铭,可能是载鼎系为王家饮食所用。不过＂中[貝甫]＂也有可能是封邑名,如同湖南所出＂审阳王鼎＂中的＂审阳＂,如此则该铭便是言中[貝甫]王之鼎。

This paper researches the unearthed ＂中[貝甫]王鼎＂ inscription,and considers that the character ＂[貝甫]＂ in it is composed of 贝 and 帚.＂[貝甫]＂ should be scribed as[貝甫],and the sound is an omission of ＂[貝甫]＂.In the inscription,＂[貝甫]＂ maybe means 馈,＂中馈＂ means the diet in house.That suggests that this tripod is for royal＇s diet.But ＂中馈＂ maybe the name of a place,such as ＂[貝甫]阳＂ in the ＂[貝甫]阳王鼎＂ which is unearthed in Hu Nan.If it＇s true,the inscription means that the tripod is belongs to ＂歸王＂.
