摘要
应用Solid Works软件的Flow Simulation插件对一款典型的汽车排气管三元催化器进行计算流体动力学(CFD)分析,设计了2个CFD项目:1)催化体为各向同性的多孔介质;2)催化体为单向的多孔介质。通过CFD模拟仿真,获得在相同边界条件下,2种CFD项目不同的速度场及压力场;预测了两种催化体的背压、直观地观察到催化体内流体的分布,间接反映出2种催化体对汽车尾气的净化效率,以便在实际中,对不同排放要求的车型,选择合适的催化体。
Computational fluid dynamics( CFD) of a typical three-way catalytic converter( TCC) in automobile exhaust pipes was analyzed by 'Flow Simulation' plugin in 'Solid Works' software. Two CFD projects were designed: 1) The porous catalytic carrier was isotropic; 2) the porous catalytic carrier was unidirectional. Two different CFD velocity and pressure fields were obtained under the same boundary conditions by CFD simulation. Back flow pressures of TCCs were predicted and the fluid distributions inside the catalytic carriers indirectly reflect purification efficiency of automobile exhaust gas by the two kinds of TCC,so that the CFD fluid analysis can provide a helpful reference for a suitable choice of catalytic carrier for different vehicle types.
