蛋白磷酸酶5在结肠癌中的表达及临床意义

Expression and clinical signifi cance of protein phosphatase 5 in colon cancer

目的探究蛋白磷酸酶5(PP5)在结肠癌组织及癌旁正常组织中的表达差异情况并分析PP5表达与临床病理特征的关系,讨论PP5表达在结肠癌中临床意义。方法应用免疫组织化学技术对105例结肠癌患者癌组织及20例癌旁正常组织进行半定量分析。结果结肠癌组织中PP5的表达与正常组织相比明显上调(P<0.01)。在结肠癌患者组织中PP5的高表达与肿瘤浸润程度更深(P=0.025),淋巴结有转移(P=0.010),TNM分期晚(P=0.017),肿瘤更大(P=0.026),分化程度更差(P=0.034)呈正相关。多因素生存分析表明PP5的高表达是结肠癌患者术后生存时间短的独立的预后因素。结论在结肠癌中PP5的高表达有可能是预后不良的一个独立预后因素。

Objective To explore the expression of protein phosphatase 5 （PPS） in colon cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues, and to analyze the relationship between PP5 expression and clinical pathological features, and to discuss the clinical significance of PP5 expression in colon cancer. Methods Semi quantitative analysis of 105 cases of colon cancer tissues and 20 cases of normal tissues by using immunohistochemistry technique were processed. Results In 105 samples of colon cancer patients, PP5 expression level in colon cancers were significantly higher than those in corresponding normal tissues （P〈0.01）. Patients with PP5 high expression showed significantly deeper tumor depth （P=0.025）, more nodal involvement （P= 0.034）, more advanced TNM stages （P=0.017）, and a larger tumor size （P= 0.026） than those who had low expression for PP5 in adjacent normal tissues. Additionally, multivariate survival analysis demonstrated that expression of PP5 was an independent prognostic factor for overall survival （P=0.041）. Conclusion PP5 could serve as an efficient prognostic factor for colon cancer patients.
