Analysis on Development Trends for Chinese Students Studying Abroad and Coming Back

留学国外的中国学生是我国海外引才的主要对象。为了准确把握中国学生出国留学和留学回国的发展趋势,本文选择最新的可信数据作为研究的依据,从纵向和横向的角度,全面分析改革开放以来出国留学和留学回国的历史趋势,将出国留学和留学回国与经济社会发展联系起来,运用回归分析方法,深入探讨出国留学和留学回国与经济社会发展之间的定量关系。研究结果发现,出国留学和留学回国与经济发展之间存在着显著的数量关系。根据研究结果,对中国学生出国留学和留学回国提出了相关政策建议。

Chinese students studying abroad are the main target talents that China plans to introduce from abroad.In order to follow the general development trends of Chinese students studying abroad and coming back,recent reliable data are collected and analyzed from longitudinal and horizontal perspectives in this paper.The historical trends since China＇s reform and opening-up are examined carefully and thoroughly.Quantitative relationships between developments of Chinese students studying abroad and coming back and social-economic developments are explored by means of regression analysis.The results show that significant quantitative relationships exist between the developments of Chinese students studying abroad and coming back and the social-economic developments.Some policy recommendations are provided for promoting development of Chinese students studying abroad and coming back on the basis of research results.
