In the context of globalization and against the background of social and economic developments, university leaders now face new challenges. There are some new trends of international leadership training in such aspects as strategic positioning, training ideas, systems and mechanisms, contents and methods, and faculty-building. During the training process, by carrying out useful explorations and practices, China＇s cadre education and training has created many effective measures in resource integration, open education, innovative training and international construction. To further improve cadre education and training, there need to be beneficial references and inspirations to be learned by recognizing the new trends and changes of leadership training in the context of internationalization as well as the innovative practices of China cadre education.
