近年来我国的会展业随经济与社会发展,会展场馆的建设增多,建筑形式大多借鉴西方。上海凭借优越的地理位置,在国家控制、西方经济文化冲击和自身开放发展的矛盾中成长,上海的近代会展业发展是在开放后的城市经济发展和政治环境所决定的,形成了独特的发展特点。对上海的会展建筑发展过程的研究能总结出一些符合中国国情的会展业的发展方式和策略,促进会展业蓬勃发展,提高上海会展场馆的经营管理水平。

In recent years, China＇s exhibition industry develops with economy and society. The construction of the exhibition venues is increasing and the construction form is mostly borrowing from the west. With its superior geographical position, Shanghai has grown up in the mixture of state control, western economic and cultural impact, and its own opening up. The development of Shanghai＇s modem exhibition industry is decided by the city economic development and political environment, forming its unique characteristics. Research on the development of the exhibition building in Shanghai can sum up the development mode and strategy suitable for China＇s national conditions, promote the development of the exhibition industry, and improve the management level of Shanghai Exhibition.
