当前我国经济社会高速发展,进入全面深化改革的关键时期,使作为大学生思想政治教育重要组成部分的国防军事课教育面临着诸多的机遇和挑战。军事课对于提升大学生的国防意识,培养学生爱国主义情感,培育和践行社会主义核心价值观,全面提升大学生综合素质,推动国防现代化建设具有重要作用。同时军事课也面临着时代发展进步与学生新特点以及社会现实等诸多方面的挑战,我们必须明确军事课教学在重视度及落实的有效性、学科与课程建设、军事课教学主客体作用发挥、效果评价、制度体系、教学内容、手段方法以及教学队伍等方面所面临的问题。从实际出发,与时俱进,开拓创新,推动军事理论课教学的改革和实践,坚定信念,提高认识,注重学科建设,加强师资队伍建设,丰富教学内容,改进教学方法,推动军事理论课教学落到实处,不断促进国防教育课程教学水平的提高,推动国防教育向纵深方向发展,服务于国家建设。
