摘要
本文探讨二语学习者学术英语写作中的引用行为。基于对学习者文本的量化分析和访谈,在文本借用的框架中考察研究生课程论文写作中的引用程度、发展变化和影响因素。研究发现,学习者在文献使用中总体引用程度较低;高年级和低年级在引用程度上有显著差异,表现为直接引用和释义引用的显著差异。影响学习者引用行为的主要因素是引用意识和学科知识。结果显示,文献使用中的引用行为是一个发展过程,提高学习者的引用意识须要加强学科知识和引用意识。本研究对学术英语写作教学有一定启示。
This paper explores the citing practices by Chinese EFL learners. Through the analysis of the participants' course papers and interviews,the paper examines the citing extents,the developmental changes and the affecting factors in citing practice of Chinese postgraduate students. It is found that the students have a low citing extent in textual borrowing,but the first-year and second-year students reveal a significant difference in citing extent in borrowing form of quotation and paraphrase. It is found that the participants' citing practices are mainly influenced by their citing awareness and disciplinary knowledge. It is indicated that citing practice is an uneven developmental process,requiring the enhancement of disciplinary knowledge and citing awareness,and it also has implications for English academic writing instruction.
