Assuming Responsibility and Mission: the Innovation of Social Sciences Popularization

研究新形势下的社会科学普及问题,需要认真分析社会科学普及面临的形势、任务和使命。我们面对的形势、承担的任务和使命决定了必须开展社会科学普及。社会科学普及的重点领域应当包括五个方面:有效巩固马克思主义在意识形态领域的指导地位;巩固全党全国各族人民团结奋斗的共同思想基础;铸造中国精神;构建道德根基;培育和践行社会主义核心价值观。怎么开展好新形势下的社会科学普及,一是在社会科学普及当中树立政治意识,坚持正确的政治导向;二是树立问题意识,坚持问题导向;三是有效挖掘资源,创新平台;四是树立法治意识。

Analysis of the situation we are faced with reveals the urgency to carry out the task of social sciences popularization. There are five key areas for the publicizing work, including consolidating effectively the guiding position of Marxism in the ideo- logical field; strengthening the common ideological foundation for the unity and struggle of the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups; inheriting the national spirit of the Chinese nation and promoting that of the times; moral construction, ethical casting ; cultivating and practicing the socialist core values. Finally, as for how to put into effect the popularization program, four suggestions are proposed. Namely, upholding political awareness and adhering to the correct political direction; establishing problem awareness and sticking to being problem -oriented; effectively mining resources and innovating platform; setting up the rule - by - law consciousness.
