大学英语教学改革目的新论——读写译的核心地位 被引量:3

摘要 《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》颁布实施,暴露了现行的《大学英语课程教学要求》(2007)与之对大学英语教学目标阐释的不一致性。这不仅影响了大学英语教育改革方向性大的问题,而且导致各高校对大学英语改革的认识和实践出现混乱。作者认为,只有通过修订《课程要求》、确立大学英语教学中读写译的核心地位,实施三个层面的教学改革,才能推动大学英语改革的健康发展,培养在科技与人文等多个领域具有国际竞争力的人才。 The announcement of the Outline of China/s National Plan for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development (2010-2020) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan) reveals an apparent inconsistency with College English Curriculum Requirements (2007) (hereinafter referred to as Curriculum) concerning the objectives of China's college English education. The inconsistency not only affects the directions of the current college English reforms, but leads to a misunderstanding of the essence of the reforms and even a disorder in the English teaching practices in different colleges and universities in China. Therefore, the author holds that modifications should be made to the Curriculum so as to enhance reading, writing and translating skills which are the core of English education. By advocating teaching reforms at three levels, the author maintains that college English reforms will be further promoted to healthier development, thus cultivating intellectuals with international competitive abilities in both science and technology and social science and humanities.
