The Cognition of the metaphors in the Second Language Acquisition

隐喻是人对客观世界的一种认知方式,是文化的反映。隐喻是语言中普遍存在的原则,是人以隐喻化的方式对世界进行知觉、理解的产物,许多文化现象以隐喻的方式联系起来。隐喻是相似的,尽管语言上有差异,但思维是相通的。只有对一种语言的隐喻有了较强的领悟力,才能说是在一定程度上掌握了一种语言。

Metaphor is a cognitive way to perceive the objective world. It reflects the correspondent culture. Metaphor is a universal principle results from the perception of the world. Many cultural phenomena are linked by metaphor. Metaphors in different languages are similar. Only when one master the metaphor of another language very well can he be said to have master a certain language.
