Ship as a kind of special commodity has characteristics of complex process of dealing and high technical specifications.After the contract enters into force,the shipyard begins to design according to the ship technical specification,submitting to the classification society and the relevant government authorities and the owner for approval.The design is the basis of the contract.The shipyard in the process of fulfilling the contract should be clear design responsibilities and rights from the source,reducing risks to the minimum from the beginning.Based on the management and the practical application,the paper expounds the key points of the ship design in the ship design,and puts forward suggestions and countermeasures to improve the management level of the ship design.
