Editor＇ s Note： Mr. Chin Yue-lin is a famous modern philosopher, logician, educator and scholar and he made significant, pioneering contribution to the construction and creation of China＇ s modern philosophy discipline. Tsinghua university held commemorative symposium in 2015 the year of Mr. Chin Yue-lin＇ s 120th birthday, which emphasized the importance of the popularization of philos- ophy, logic on the education of Chinese thought, especially at this time of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, it is particularly more important to have rational thinking, and remember Mr. Chin Yue-lin at the same time. At the seminar, scholars summarized the academic contribution and person- al charm of Mr. Chin Yue-lin in different perspectives, and we choose the speeches of four scholars for the readers.
