摘要
以硅烷偶联剂KH-550为表面改性剂处理富勒烯(C_(60))和氢氧化铝(ATH),研究改性C_(60)对HDPE/ATH复合材料阻燃性能和热稳定性的影响。在高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)中单纯加入ATH需要160 phr才能使UL-94垂直燃烧等级达到V-0级别,而加入1 phr C_(60)后,ATH只需要120 phr即可达到V-0级,同时,改性C_(60)的加入可以有效延长材料的点燃时间、最大热释放速率对应的时间和氧化诱导期,降低最大热释放速率。这一结果表明,少量偶联改性富勒烯有助于大幅度降低阻燃剂ATH的用量,减少由此带来的对材料力学性能和加工性能的不良影响。
Fullerene( C60) and aluminum hydroxide( ATH) were treated with silane coupling agent KH-550. The influences of modified C60 on the flame retardancy and thermal stability of HDPE / ATH composites were studied. 160 phr of ATH is needed to make UL-94 vertical flame rating of HDPE to V-0 level,but after adding 1 phr C60,only 120 phr ATH is needed. Besides,adding C60 extends the time to ignition,time to peak heat release rate and oxidation induction time,while cut down the peak heat release rate. It will help to cuts down the amount of flame retardant ATH significantly,thus reduce adverse effects of the resulting mechanical properties and processing properties.
