摘要
根据工信部的统计,2014年约有3500台手机终端进行了入网测试,其中的"空中整机性能测试"(OTA,Over TheAir)是对手机2G/3G性能评估的一个强制要求,也是中国移动终端公司入库测试的必选项目之一。目前入网要求的OTA测试主要评估使用单根天线进行通讯的2G/3G功能,被称作"单入单出空中整机性能测试方法"(SISO OTA),能有效考核手机的接通灵敏度:有数据表明移动公司入库测试之后一年内,2G/3G接通率提高了近30%,4G的接通率提高了近40%。但接通率对于4G手机来说只是最低要求,能否有效提供稳定、高速的吞吐量才是未来最重要的评估项目,但SISO OTA是无法完成这个测试任务的。当前对4G手机、Wi Fi乃至5G终端进行整机无线性能评估最先进的技术是"多入多出整机性能测试方法"(MIMOOTA),这个方法被认为是OTA的一次重大革命。本文从手机研发的角度介绍了当前的MIMO OTA标准、意义及其未来演进方向。
According to the report of China Academy of information and communication technology, 3500 mobile phones were tested for network accessing license. The Over-The-Air(OTA) test requirement is the mandatory item both for 2G/3G and 4G system. It is said that the call completion ratio is enhanced by 30% for 2G/3G system and 40% for 4G system. While the throughput is the key performance index in 4G system, conventional SISO OTA can not fuli l this duty. Comparing with SISO OTA, MIMO OTA is a revolution in OTA measurement method by introducing channel models which makes it is possible to evaluate the performance of MIMO capable equipments. Both the standardization status and importance of MIMO OTA are introduced in this article.
