The two SG-240/9.8―MQT670 boilers burning 25% blast furnace gas at the thermal power plant of Xingcheng Special Steel are briefly described. After technical transformation for environmental purpose, the SO_2 emission concentration of the boiler was reduced to 50 m^3/h, NO_X emission concentration reduced to 100 m^3/h and dust emission concentration reduced to 20 m^3/h, achieving environmental protection upgrading.
