摘要
伊拉希迪盆地位于皮尔巴拉和伊尔岗(Yilgarn)两个大型太古代克拉通之间,钻探验证该盆地内的航磁异常由磁铁矿体引起,在盆地中有前寒武纪条带状变质铁硅建造(BIF型铁矿)。铁矿主要赋存在伊拉希迪群的弗雷雷组中,该组地层是找矿的直接标志。该铁矿矿石矿物以磁铁矿为主,区域性的航磁异常是找矿的重要标志。矿体空间上受构造控制,呈北东向带状展布。伊拉希迪盆地内相关的航磁异常分布较广,具有寻找大型铁矿床的潜力。
The Earaheedy Basin lies between two large-sized Archean cratons Pilbara and Yilgarn. Drilling has verified that the basin's aeromagnetic anomaly is caused by magnetite body. In the basin had formed Precambrian banded metamorphic ferrosilicon formation(BIF type iron deposit). Iron deposit is mainly hosted in Frere Formation, Earaheedy Group; the formation is direct indicator for prospecting. Mineral in the iron deposit is mainly magnetite; regional aeromagnetic anomaly is a major indicator in prospecting. Orebody is controlled by structures spatially, presents NE banded extending. Related aeromagnetic anomalies widely distributed in Earaheedy Basin with large-sized iron deposit potential.
