An Allegory Interpretation of Beloved

本文以本雅明的寓言理论为参照,从破碎的文本、忧郁的气质和升华的救赎三方面对莫里森的《宠儿》所蕴含的寓言性进行挖掘,试图从文本中找寻作者对于那段不愿被人们回忆和触及的奴隶制历史的关注与思考。

By using Walter Benjamin＇s bright allegory theory, this paper is trying to excavate the meaning of allegory in Beloved from its fragmentation on the form and content, melancholy in temperament and consciousness of salvation. Thus it attempts to build a bridge between the text and the allegory world, pursuing the author＇s consideration regarding the slavery period.
