Continuing Professional Education for Singapore Pharmacists

新加坡《药师注册法案》要求所有注册药师必须在具有有效的执业证书的情况下,才能参与药学执业,且在执业证书的有效期内,需要参加被委员会认可的继续专业教育活动,积累足够学分才能进行下一个周期的证书注册,所有的专业人员包括注册药师必须参与继续专业教育。介绍新加坡药师继续专业教育的原则、框架和实施细则等内容。

Pharmacists Registration Act will require that any registered pharmacist who is involved in the practice of pharmacy can only do so with a valid Practising Certificates in Singapore. Pharmacists are required to take part in approved Continuing Professional Education （CPE） activities during the qualifying period of their Practising Certificates and accumulate enough CPE points to renew Practising Certificates. All professionals, including pharmacists, must engage in CPE. This paper aims to introduce the rationale for compulsory CPE on pharmacists, the framework and implementation details.
