七七事变爆发后,中国进入全面抗战时期。残酷的战争使民众生活状况急转直下,各行各业民众均为生计所苦,健康、物价、就业等民生议题恶化。从全面抗战伊始直至战争结束,民生问题一直是社会舆论聚焦的一大热点。国人对抗战与民生的关系、各社会阶层的生活改善以及与民生关系密切的物价问题进行了持久的讨论。这场热议反映了解决战时民生问题的现实紧迫性,其本质是对抗战前途和国家命运的忧思,折射了国民政府处理民生问题的困境,反映了国民党抗战路线的进退维谷。

The outbreak of the July 7 th Incident brought China into a period of a full-scale counter-Japanese war.The cruel war made the living standard of the majority of people drop sharply.People from all walks of life were struggling for their livelihood,and people’s livelihood issues such as health,prices,and employment had deteriorated from the beginning of the full-scale war to the end of the war,and the issue of people’s livelihood had always been a major focus of public opinion.Around the issue of people’s livelihood in the wartime including the relationship between people’s livelihood and the war of resistance,the improvement of the lives of different social strata,and the price problem affecting people’s livelihood,the community had launched a lasting discussion.This hot discussion reflected the realistic urgency of solving the problems of people’s livelihood.Its essence was the discussion about the future of the war and the fate of the country.It reflected the dilemma of the national government to solve the problems of people’s livelihood in wartime and the route of the war of resistance of nationalist party.
