The Chance Meeting in Paradise is the 4th short story anthology by Liu Pingyong, which includes seven novellas published recently in core journals on literature. Reading the anthology, between the lines one can feel the author＇s sympathetic mood over the characters created in his stories： the author narrates the sadness or happiness of the characters in a sad or happy mood accordingly.
