Reform and Planning in the Teaching of College English Listening in the Big Data Era

从大数据的概念、特征以及带来的思维变革入手,结合我国大学英语听力教学的现状,分析了大数据条件下给我国大学英语听力教学带来的诸多变化,考察了大学英语听力教师在这轮时代变革中所面临的挑战以及应采取的应对措施。

The increasing application of Internet and information technology has led us into a brand new era of big data. This paper will first look at the definition, characteristics of the big data era and changes of ideas in this era. Then the current situation of teaching of College English Listening will be examined. Next, this paper will investigate the changes of teaching of College English Listening caused by the big data technology. Finally, the challenges of the teachers in the new era will be inspected and the measures to meet these challenges will be explored.
