Durkheim is the founder of sociology of education,he believes that education can be analyzed from the perspective of sociology. In the alternant society of the old and the new,he hopes to use the power of education to build a stable social order. According to sociological theory,and combining with the publication Education and Its Nature and Function, the paper analyzes the definition of education.
