This paper analyzes and summarizes Tianjin Music Library＇s experiences of characteristic services and the positive social effects which were brought by these services. Moreover, it discusses the development direction of public library＇s characteristic services from aspects including the need of users, the function orientation, the management system, the consciousness of brand and characteristics resources.
