摘要
用Er∶YAG陶瓷激光作为泵浦源研究了Tm∶CYA晶体激光输出特性。对Tm∶CYA采用共振泵浦的方式,分别研究了4.0 at.%和6.0 at.%两种掺Tm^(3+)离子浓度的Tm∶CYA样品在5%和10%透过率输出耦合镜下的激光输出特性,并对激光光谱进行了比较分析。采用沿c轴切割的4.0 at.%掺Tm^(3+)离子浓度的Tm∶CYA作为激光增益介质,在输出镜透过率为5%的情况下,当泵浦功率为2.46 W时,获得了最高功率为1.20 W的近衍射极限的TEM_(00)的激光输出,光束质量因子M^2约为1.1,对应的斜率效率达56.3%。
The output characteristics of a novel solid-state laser with Er : YAG ceramic laser as the pump source and Tm : CYA as the laser crystal is studied. Efficient lasing of resonantly pumped Tm : CYA solid-state laser is demonstrated. Output characteristics under 4. 0 at. % and 6.0 at. % Tm3 + -doping concentrations and different transmittances of output coupler are experimentally studied. The 4. 0 at. % Tm3 + -doping c-cut Tm : CYA single crystal is as gain medium. When the transmittance of an output coupler is 5% ,the maximum output power in a diffraction-limited TEM0o beam(with M2 of about 1.1 ) is 1.20 W at pump power of 2.46 W,and the corresponding slope efficiency is 56. 3%.
