澳大利亚森林面积1.25亿hm^2,其中人工林仅占1.6%,但生产的木材占全国产量的80%。林业投资时间长、见效慢,但收益稳定,特别是澳大利亚人工林资源,具有长期投资价值,近年已吸引超过50亿澳元的外国投资。中国是澳大利亚最大贸易国及最大投资来源国,澳中经济具有很大互补性,2015年12月20日开始执行的《中澳自由贸易协定》,亦将为两国进一步扩大林产品贸易和林业投资提供契机。

Characterized by long-term investment value and stable return, forest resource normally is one of the important sections for global financial corporation/institute, EPSecially by pension funds, to allocate their investments. Industrial plantations in Australia attracted over 5 billion A$ foreign investments in last few years. China is Australia＇s largest trading partner and became No. 1 foreign direct investment source to Australia in 2014. As two highly complementary economies, China and Australia have signed a free trade agreement（Ch AFTA）, which entered into force on 20 th December 2015 and will provide more opportunities of trading between the two countries and investing in Australian forestry.
