Taking Lakeland Community College in Ohio promoted by AWT as an example, the paper compares it with the corresponding organization in Hubei Polytechnic Institute and summarizes the enlightenment and refer- ence from the integral application of resources in American community colleges. Besides, the author illustrates the advantages and characteristics of mutual - benefit in optimizing resource allocation and improving the efficiency of resources sharing to explore an innovation path for vocational colleges in China to make an integral application of re- sources, guide social forces to participate in running schools and play the vital role of enterprises in running schools.
