摘要
探讨同伴互助模式(Peer Coaching Model简称PCM)对英语教师专业发展的有效性和实用性,以某高职院校16名采用同伴互助模式教学的英语教师为研究对象,通过问卷调查和访谈等方式进行分析后发现,同伴互助有助于教师间交流教学方法和教学资料,积极进行教学反思从而促进教学能力的提高。该研究还指出同伴互助模式中敏感度、支持程度、灵活性、和幽默感等因素有助于教师间建立良好合作关系。
This paper explores the effectiveness and practicality of peer coaching model on English teachers' professional development. It conducts a research on 16 English teachers practicing peer coaching model in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The research proves that peer coaching is conductive to teachers' exchanging teaching methods and materials,reflecting on their teaching practice and improving their teaching ability. The research also indicates that sensibility,support,flexibility and sense of humor are helpful to establish good cooperative relationship among teachers.
