厦门市城市国际化水平的实证研究

An Empirical Study on Xiamen's Level of Internationalization

提升城市国际水平是厦门市今后一个时期的重要发展目标。为了能综合性地衡量、分析厦门市城市国际化发展情况,用城市国际化水平综合评价的指标体系,从绝对量和相对量两方面入手,对厦门市城市国际化水平进行测评。厦门目前已一定程度上完成了城市国际化的初级阶段,并在向中级阶段过渡的过程中,但是与北京、上海、广州、深圳相比还存在着很大的差距。厦门应先打造成承担某项国际性职能的专业型城市以及地区性的交通枢纽中心,再向综合型的国际化大都市进一步迈进。

Enhancing the level of internationalization is one important development goal of Xiamen City in the future period. The author has evaluated the internationalization level of Xiamen City, from two aspects of absolute quantity and relative quantity, in order to comprehensively measure and analyze Xiamen＇s internationalization development. The result shows that Xiamen, having completed the primary stage to some extent, is toward the intermediate stage of internationalization, but compared with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, it has a long way to go. It is proposed that Xiamen should become a professional city able to carry the international function and a regional transport hub and proceed to be a comprehensive international metropolis.
