Some layout methods about reinf hinge tailgate in hatchback were introduced. For a type of hatchback,inner panel of tailgate was cracked in road testing process. To solve the problem,related solutions were presented,analyzed and verified,then an optimal scheme was gotten. The research provides reference for tailgate design in future.
