The notion of the Marxist right to discourse manifests the mission to uphold and develop Marxism in contemporary China. This notion is genealogically related to various concepts and categories： it is easy to recognize in terms of etymology and rhetoric; specifies the research orientation in the fields of philosophy and cultural studies; brings about the negative dialectics in ideology; and shows a polarization effect in the domain of western Marxism. The establishment of Marxist right to discourse usually takes a problem-oriented approach. Therefore,the key to due understanding of the source and essence of the problems and the practical value of the Marxist right to discourse and to the exploration of its external space lies in forging the logical chain of the notion of the Marxist right to discourse and firmly establishing the historical position and contemporary value of Marxism.
