Flaky zinc powders are functional metal powder materials in chemical industry, which are prepared by ball-milling and surface modification of spherical zinc powders with diameters of 70-200 μm. In addition, zinc flakes are ultra-thin and ultra-fine powders with large diameter-thickness ratio, which possess good adhesion strength, remarkable effects of anti-corrosion and anti-oxidant, high activity and excellent conductivity. Zinc flakes are important raw materials for the production of water soluble inorganic salt coating, inorganic zinc-rich coating and dacromet coating. Compared with spherical zinc powders, zinc flakes have incomparable advantages in the field of metal anti-corrosion.
