摘要
英国女作家扎迪·史密斯的小说《白牙》讲述了生活在伦敦的琼斯、伊克巴尔、夏尔芬三家人的故事。史密斯笔下的伦敦已不单纯是具象空间的外在物质形态描写,她的城市书写嵌入在英国文化肌理中并与少数族裔移民的经历并行发展。小说通过20世纪后半叶纷繁复杂的伦敦空间描述,展示了多元文化并存的社会样态,记录了城市居住者在寻找空间归属时所经历的憧憬、分裂与融合的意识流变。
