摘要
本研究基于翻译目的论、接受美学理论和目前中国文化走出的现实,从译入语读者角度构建了一个文化走出去背景下中国典籍翻译策略选择模型。该模型说明,在当下推动文化走出去的初期乃至较长一段时期内,要以西方群众喜闻乐见的形式讲好中国文化故事。即就是要以占多数的西方大众读者为对象,更多地采取变译和归化策略,以通俗易懂的方式让译入语读者了解、认识中国文化;而随译入语读者接受水平的提升,则应逐渐提高异化策略的比例。
Based on the Skopos theory and reception aesthetics and on the current reality for Chinese culture going-out,this thesis constructs a translation method selection mode for Chinese classics from the perspective of target readers. It suggests that translator should tell Chinese story to the western readers in the popular manners. Specifically,with the most average readers in mind,translator should adopt more translation variation and domestication method,and less foreignization to enable western readers to understand and know Chinese culture at current and a long period after. With the increase of acceptance level,translator may increase foreignization ratio gradually.
