摘要
译者语言与译文语言地缘性的研究在以往比较鲜见。本文主要以苏籍译者群为研究对象,对其方言在译文中的运用展开地缘关系分析,并具体通过对杨必译《名利场》个案的研究,发现译者在译文中引用吴语多是求原文之真、务读者需求之实之举。本文属于区域语言地理和译者行为研究的一部分。
Studies on the geographical relationship between a translator's language and the language used in his translation have been relatively scarce. By taking the translators born in Jiangsu Province as a group, this article analyzes the geographical relationship between a group of translators and the Wu dialect in their translations of Vanity Fair and takes Yang Bi's translation as a case study. The author concludes that the use of Wu dialect in Yang Bi's version is both truth-seeking to the source text and utility-attaining for readers in reality in most cases. This article falls into the scope of Regional Language Geography and Translator Behavior Criticism.
