摘要
本文采用因子分析法,对比分析学生译者与职业译者翻译元认知监控的因子构成,并进一步揭示元认知监控与翻译能力的相关性,分析发现:1)翻译元认知监控主要包括翻译监控、自我评价、事先计划、意图评估和自我调节五因素;2)由于职业译者和学生译者在审美、动机与目的、翻译记忆以及翻译过程处理上的差异性,造成了二者在自我调节上差距最大,其他依次为意图评估、事先计划、自我评价和翻译监控;3)相关性研究表明,学生译者的翻译监控、自我评价、事先计划三因素与翻译能力呈正相关,而职业译者的元认知监控五因素与翻译能力均有一定相关性。
Factor analysis has been applied to explore the composition of meta-cognitive regulation of translators,based on a comparative study on student and professional translators.A detailed examination has also been conducted on the correlation between translation meta-cognitive regulation and translation competence.Results suggest that 1)translation meta-cognitive regulation consists of translation monitoring,self-evaluation,planning,intention evaluation,and self-regulation;2)due to the differences in aesthetic,motivation,objective,translation memory and information processing,the largest gap between student and professional translators lies in the factor of selfregulation,followed by intention evaluation,planning,self-evaluation and translation monitoring;3)the factors of translation monitoring,self-evaluation and planning have a positive correlation with student translators' translation competence,while all the factors of meta-cognitive regulation are relatively correlated with professional translators' translation competence.
